The Rehabilitation Institute, the hospital features 184 licensed acute care beds as well as inpatient and outpatient surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, cardiac services featuring a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack) and a 35-bed 24-hour emergency department. Essential Job Duties:
Clinical Specialist - Pharmacy provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling, teaching and involvement with the care team for all applicable patients. The position will require processing orders for medications, among other duties.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years (2) required experience, preferably in a hospital setting. A residency in the field of specialty is desired.
- Bachelors or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm or PharmD) from an accredited institution.
- Current Pharmacist License in the State of California
- A pharmacy residency and/or board certification is desirable.
