Shift Notes:
- Flexible schedule: options include 5x8-hour shifts, 4x10-hour shifts, or 3x12-hour shifts.
- Must be able to start at 2:00 PM. Days of the week may vary.
- Must be available for one weekend a month.
Job Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist provides mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous locations. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging services using portable X-ray equipment and submit/transmit images to a radiologist for interpretation. You will also provide EKG services when applicable and be responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring high-quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Transport and unload X-ray equipment to facilities and perform exams as ordered by the physician.
- Ensure clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images.
- Perform EKGs (if required) and transmit results to a cardiologist for interpretation.
- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
- Regularly communicate with peers, management, dispatch, and clients.
- Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment.

Physical Demands:
- Radiologic technologists may push/pull anywhere from 50 100 lbs.
- Using vehicle ramps and pulleys reduces weight, but pushing/pulling equipment in a facility or home may increase force.
Certification Requirements:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
