As a Lead Urgent Care RN, you will execute daily workflows, deliver high-quality clinical outcomes, and provide exemplary patient care. It is expected that the daily work of the Lead Urgent Care RN will encompass both lead and direct patient care responsibilities.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:45pm to 11:30pm and rotating on-call for weekends.
Hiring range: between $43.85-$56.25/hour, and placement in the range is based on evaluation of experience. Differentials Available: Evening ($2.00/hour), Saturday/Sunday ($2.50/hour)
Responsibilities include:
- Using assessment skills to triage patients according to protocol.
- Ability to perform clinical skills such as IV, urinary catheters, ear lavage, EKG, sterile set up, injections, immunizations, point-of-care testing, swabbing, phlebotomy.
- Reassign staff to meet the needs of the day and coordinate cross-site, as necessary.
- Must work independently and as a team member and be able to wear a mask all day, including an N95 in cases where protocol directs.
- Act as the first level, “go to person” for the providers and staff regarding troubleshooting issues. Act as a mentor, role model, and resource for co-workers.
- Assist manager with provider schedules, coordinating vacation requests and sick calls to ensure appropriate clinical coverage. Assist manager with review of time cards.
- Monitor and process Telephone and MyChart encounters to meet Clinic timelines.
- Maintain efficient levels of medications, medical and office supplies.
- Facilitate the orientation and training of new and on-call staff.
- Train, communicate, and monitor any new processes to the department/unit.
Requirements:
- Active unencumbered Washington RN license and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required. (Active Washington license within 60 days of hire or transfer if use multi-state licensure)
- Active unencumbered Oregon RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer required.
- Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.
- Ability to successfully become a core-trainer and super user of EHR.
- Superior communication skills and interpersonal skills set.
Pay Range: $43.02 - $64.53
