Job Description
Seeking a Lab Technician with a primary focus on performing extractions, assisting with sample preparations, and lab maintenance activities such as glassware cleaning, hazardous waste disposal, and order receipt.
A secondary focus will be conducting NVR, TOC, FTIR, and RP-HPLC testing for Extractable and Leachable studies in a GLP environment.
Experience with Empower, TOC-Control, and Omnic instrument software is preferred.
The candidate should carry a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science at a minimum. At least 1 year of professional laboratory experience is preferred.
The candidate must be able to follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and protocols. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments. The position will require timely handling of data, report generation, maintenance of laboratory worksheets, and updating equipment calibration records. Comprehensive reading and writing of the English language is necessary. Safe and proper handling of various chemicals is required, and the candidate must be able to read and understand SDS sheets.
