Psychiatry/Mental Health-NP - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Practice Setting
Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner interested in a well-respected group practice in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Provider would work in a clinic and hospital setting with a Mon-Thurs 4|10s schedule, with two of those days being telehealth.
The Provider would conduct Psychiatric Evaluations and Assessments and Medication Management across the lifespan. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting 1 new patient evaluation every hour
- Managing follow-ups and medication checks every 20 minutes
- Working in both a traditional setting and telepsychiatry
This site provides excellent collaborative support and training. Compensation is equitable ($120,000-$135,000+) depending upon experience, plus an incentive plan and a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Retirement, and Malpractice coverage by the practice. A CME allowance (approved by the Executive Director for conferences) is provided, and all dues, fees, and licenses are paid for by the practice.
Knoxville, Tennessee has excellent schools, a reasonable cost of living, and many entertainment and dining options. This is an excellent opportunity for both new graduates and experienced providers.
Requirements:
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Tennessee Licensed as a PMHNP
- Interest in working in an Out-Patient Practice Setting
- Comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan
- Willingness to work On-Site
