Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only
- Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites
- Daily Patient Census: 18 patients per day
- Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources
- Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment
- Recommends and orders tests to determine the extent of illness or help diagnose condition
- Monitors lab results, medication adherence, and medication toxicities
- Prescribes or administers treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
- Explains and discusses procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient
- Refers patients to medical specialists when necessary
- Represents the practice at hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the group
- Collaborates and manages APPs
Minimum Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
- Proven experience in a primary care setting
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Compensation and Perks:
- Annual Compensation Range: $320,000 - $418,000
- Sign On Bonus/Relocation available for qualified candidates
