CT Technologist

New York Imaging (NYI) provides a comprehensive range of cutting-edge diagnostic imaging services from state-of-the-art modalities at various institutions. Our patient-oriented imaging center promotes a positive experience. We are conveniently located throughout Long Island: in Lake Success and Port Jefferson Station, with affiliated locations in Riverhead, Setauket, and Southampton.
In this role you will:
- Operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions.
- Prepare patients for these diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by a Physician.
We require:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, required.
- New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in IV contrast administration (required).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Technologist (R.T.) (preferred).
- One year experience in the field of radiology (preferred).
- Excellent computer knowledge, Word/Excel.
- Good communication skills.
Salary Up to $57 per hour
