Description: Recognizes changes in a surgical situation; can respond quickly and appropriately; shows ability in creating and maintaining a sterile field using principles of aseptic technique; initiates corrective action when sterility is broken, able to perform sponge, sharps, and instrument counts accurately and take action if count is not correct. Able to prioritize and multitask, flexible to the patient and departmental needs without interference to patient care.
License Requirements: LPN with an active license in ND, on-the-job training available. Surgical Technologist UAP through the NDBON.
