Our dynamic Hospitalist group has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team at IU West Hospital in Avon!
Opportunity Details
- Full-time, Night Shift
- 3x12 hour shifts
- Rotating every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
- 2 major and minor holidays per year
- No Call
- 100% inpatient
- Team includes 21 physicians and 9 advanced providers
- Opportunity to be involved in teaching at a robust community hospital
Key Responsibilities
- Overnight admitting and cross-covering patients
- Provide patient and family education
- Initiate a workup for diagnosis and implement a treatment plan, perform medical consults for and co-manage with multiple subspecialty services
- Work in tandem with a supervising/collaborative physician
Qualifications
- Master's degree required
- Must be board certified or eligible
- ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certification required
- At least 1 year of inpatient experience preferred
- Ideally experienced in Pulmonary Critical Care, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, or Nephrology
