Position Overview:
Numotion is seeking a dedicated and driven Medical Supply Account Manager (MSAM) to join our dynamic team. This full-time, at-will position offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact individuals' lives by developing new business in untapped markets. You will focus on selling essential medical supplies, including catheters, incontinence products, ostomy supplies, and wound care solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new leads to drive sales growth.
- Educate potential clients about Numotion's medical supply solutions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at clinical accounts.
- Collaborate closely with Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) to recommend optimal products.
- Manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Travel extensively (approximately 60% of your time) within a large geographic territory.
What You Bring:
- Strong ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in cold calling, referrals, and consistent follow-up.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Strong sales experience, including strategic territory and account planning.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with creativity in developing presentations.
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation (preferred).
- Commitment to Numotion's values of diversity and inclusion.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Kinesiology, Biomedical Engineering preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for a degree).
- Minimum of three (3) years in an outside sales role.
- Background in Urology, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), Home Health, Pharmaceuticals, or Wound Care (highly preferred).
- Proven track record of successful sales and account management.
- Experience with strategic territory and account planning.
- Familiarity with the medical supply industry and its regulatory environment.
- Experience working in diverse and inclusive settings.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for business needs.
