Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Mobile Mental Health Back Up Practitioner to join our dynamic team. A Mobile Mental Health Back Up Practitioner does not require a license, but must be able to provide professional staff (Licensed Clinicians) with back up duties within the Mobile Mental Health Team. Practitioners are required to be skilled in the clinical triage and assessment of all emergency, urgent, and routine calls. In addition, the MMHT Practitioner:
In this role you:
- Will respond to all calls to the MMHT with base clinician.
- Will assist in assessing individuals to provide them with the support needed to divert an ER visit or hospitalization.
- Will assess calls as a backup to the Base as needed and be able to assess an appropriate clinical response as authorized by the licensed clinician on the team.
- The practitioner must be skilled in developing exceptional follow-up diversion planning for individuals served by the Mobile team.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 yrs. experience in a Human Service related field and/or lived experience as a consumer of behavioral health services or experience with the Mental Health population.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field required.
