The Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences invites applications for open rank positions within the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the area of pharmacokinetics/pharmacometrics/clinical pharmacology.
Understanding the basis of interindividual differences in response to drug therapy enables the individualized treatment of catastrophic diseases in children and is the foundation of our research mission. We are particularly interested in translational scientists with the aspiration to develop and engage in innovative collaborative and independent research programs in this area with an emphasis on oncology, infectious diseases, hematologic diseases or rare neurologic diseases in children. The Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences has a history of translating discoveries into clinical practice. Research within the Division is highly dynamic and impactful, attracting over $6M in NIH funding and producing over 80 publications annually. The division also houses the Center for Translational Pharmacology and the Pharmacotyping Resource.

Faculty positions include full salary support, a generous start-up package and an ongoing commitment of research support and space, laboratory resources and support positions. The successful candidates are expected to establish and maintain vigorous, extramurally-funded, independent research programs.
