Overview:
- Team Select Home Care is looking for a School Health Clinical Nurse Manager to join our Team Select family.
- Expected to work on all official school days and some non-school days (teacher planning days, as needed).
- Opportunities for promotion and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for direct and indirect supervision of Registered Nurses assigned to Florida Department of Health school sites.
- Involves traveling to schools throughout all of Broward County.
- Ensure proper documentation is thoroughly completed and submitted to the Department prior to the nurse beginning their assignment in a school.
- Assist with communicable disease investigations and management.
- Participate in monthly meetings and site visits as scheduled by the Department.
- Conduct on-site quality assurance for each of the schools at least once every month utilizing the School Clinic Review.
- Ensure Care Plans are developed for all qualified students.
- Train and develop RNs to be successful in their Clinic.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- School nursing experience (preferred).
- Pediatric experience (preferred).
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
