Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator) - CHLA Division of Pulmonology

The Department of Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and the Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California (USC) seek a full-time faculty member for the position of Pediatric Pulmonologist. The ideal candidate would have an MD or MD/PhD, be board-certified in Pediatric Pulmonology, have significant clinical expertise, and qualify for a USC faculty appointment at the Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator).
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine has ten full-time and three part-time faculty members. Each faculty member has a clinical and academic profile that is tailored to their specific interests. The Division includes various specialized programs and clinics, such as a Cystic Fibrosis Center, Pulmonary Function and Exercise Physiology Laboratory, Sleep Laboratory, and more. The division has dedicated nurse specialists, respiratory care practitioners, social workers, dieticians, psychologists, a medical genetics counselor, and research support staff. The Division has ACGME accredited fellowships in both Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. The Pediatric Pulmonology program is ranked among the top 15 programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
The Pediatric Pulmonologist will be expected to provide clinical care, represent Pulmonology in CHLA committees, mentor fellows and junior faculty members, participate in medical and graduate medical education, and contribute to the overall academic rigor of CHLA and the Keck School of Medicine.
