Eagle Physicians in Oak Ridge, NC is looking to hire a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in a busy Family Medicine practice. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing high quality patient care and service in a cost-effective, patient-friendly and timely manner, including appropriate and timely record keeping.
Eagle offers a competitive salary and generous benefit package for NP's/PA's working 1/2 time or greater.
Paid Maternity/Paternity leave – Eagle provides up to 2 weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave after 1 year employed and 1,250 hours worked for the birth or adoption of a child. Time is pro-rated based on FTE status.

- Has high productivity and efficiency, including appropriate patient scheduling, accurate and appropriate diagnostic and CPT coding, judicious use of supplies and ancillary services, and appropriate patterns of consultation.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of professional Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care. Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care. Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of profession to provide on-going patient care. Skill in prioritizing and in identifying problems and recommending solutions. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. Ability to communicate clearly.
Education: Graduate of a nationally recognized Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program.
Experience: Three years of experience preferred.
Certificate/License: Certification preferred; NC licensed – required.
