Our Client is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of innovation and excellence. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse Traveler to join our team for a 13-week contract in Northern California.
Position Overview: As a Telemetry Registered Nurse Traveler, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in our telemetry unit. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Northern California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, recognizing and promptly addressing any abnormalities.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to established protocols.
- Assess and reassess patients' conditions, communicating changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Provide patient and family education on cardiac conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a telemetry or critical care setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
