Description
The Nursing Shift Supervisor provides coordination, resource distribution and direction for patient care services and all support services on evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. This position ensures the continuing coordination of operations consistent with the goals of the organization. By collaborating with all members of the health care team, assists with providing quality patient care and customer service. Reviews, analyzes and recommends changes in practice to work toward achieving Queen of the Valley Medical Center's goal of becoming a Center of Excellence. Practice is in accordance with Joint Commission standards, State and Federal regulatory criteria, and professional practice standards. Proficiency is demonstrated in the required competencies. Performs duties under minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.
Pay Range: $74.73 - $120.29
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
