IU Health Physicians is hiring! We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced and supportive Emergency Medicine team at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana!
Position Details:
- Full-Time
- Rotating Schedule; 138.67 hours/month; usually 10 or 12 hour shifts
- Weekend and holiday rotation
- No call
- Team includes 19 physicians and 11 advanced practice providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently in different areas of the Emergency Department including the main ED and observation unit.
- Provide acute care for all patient types; focused on lower acuity patients with potential collaborative care on higher acuity cases.
- Perform bedside ER procedures.
Qualifications:
- FNPor PA certifications required
- Emergency Medicine APP experience strongly preferred
- Will accept new graduates who have at minimum a clinical rotation in the ED during their program.
