Physician (Deputy Chief of Medical Operations)-RRTP
The physician leader serves as the Deputy Chief of Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP) Medical Operations. The physician leader provides a full range of services emphasizing quality, timeliness, and advancing the Veterans Affairs (VA) mission. This includes but is not limited to clinical and administrative oversight of RRTP medical operation activities, the provision of clinical care in a multidisciplinary setting.
Basic Requirements:
- United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training,
