The Health Systems Executive for Beckman Coulter is responsible for partnering and developing relationships with hospital network C-suite executives to understand their business needs and then provide solutions that can help them realize those goals.
This position is part of the North American Commercial Organization and is a fully remote role with 50%-75% travel, covering the Central region. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Strategic Accounts team and report to the Senior Director responsible for owning and maintaining all aspects of the business within your partnered customer accounts. Working cross-functionally, you will collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to provide insight, direction, and leadership to the regional sales and service teams on the overall health of the Health System as well as their goals from a business and financial perspective.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop relationships within the C-suite at the hub IDN as well as key stakeholders within the different accounts attached to the Health System (i.e., Committee Members, Procurement, Medical Directors, etc.)
- Build and lead the strategic YOY business plan within each Health System incorporating key value drivers for both the customer as well as Beckman Coulter which will drive YOY revenue growth and sustained partnership.
- Utilize DBS tools to lead sales campaigns with the local regional teams, ensuring that each member of the team understands the needs of the whole IDN and how their actions tie into the bigger customer partnership.
- Partner with the service organization to ensure that installation, go-live, and post-install maintenance are successful. Provide a high-level view of all activities going on within individual accounts to ensure that the customer is provided with high-quality, consistent service. Course correct and escalate to leadership when needed.
- Partner with local regional Area Directors and Regional Sales Managers to ensure alignment between local teams and overall Health System. Provide indirect coaching/mentoring and leadership to sales reps both formally and informally.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably within business or sciences), master’s degree preferred.
- Nine plus years of sales experience in a hospital or laboratory including experience selling to C-Suite within large IDNs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to clearly, concisely, and accurately conduct executive-level presentations.
- Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Travel 50%-75% of the time.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Understanding the business and financial goals of your customer and putting together a sound strategy on how Beckman Coulter is their partner of choice.
- Partnering with local sales teams to provide informal leadership, providing overall account strategy and ensuring accountability of the regional teams with the day-to-day tactics.
- Hospital operating financials and healthcare economics.
- Leading the weekly and monthly account plan tactics, working diligently within the sales cycle activities, preparing for and delivering business reviews effectively (both with customers and internally).

The base salary range for this role is $150,000.00-$175,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
