Performs a wide range of Ultrasound procedures on patients of varying ages, completing all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while the patient is in the Department for procedures. Assists in the development and monitoring of department-specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in the Diagnostic Imaging Services.

- Knowledge of tasks within the scope of practice of an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
Required Experience:
Work Experience: One year of work-related experience preferred.
License/Registration/Certification:
ARDMS (American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in SPI (Physics) and ONE of the following certifications: ABD, OB/GYN, VT, BR, FE, MSKS required.
(or)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Sonography (S): VS, BS required.
CPR Certified.
Education and Training: Associate of Applied Sciences in Ultrasound required.
