Schedule: Part-Time Nights, 30 & 22.5hrs/week, 7 on 7 off, Wed-Tues, 5:00PM to 1:00AM, On-call 1:00AM - 7:00AM. NO HOLIDAYS!
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, health care providers, and customers in and outside the radiology department. Performs all types of diagnostic x-ray procedures to include radiography, fluoroscopy, portables & computed tomography. Practices radiation safety for patients, staff, and self. Competently utilizes department and computer systems, PACS, HIS & RIS. Answers telephone calls for scheduling or questions. Properly cares for and images patients of all ages; maintains patient confidentiality. Cleans, disinfects, & maintains equipment as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
- Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Licensed by the State of Nebraska as a Medical Radiographer
- One year previous experience under the supervision of a Board Certified Radiologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or will provide upon hiring
