POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Specialist of Labor Management & Effectiveness is responsible for assisting and leading the labor team in daily operations. This position works with various operators to help with daily coverage, schedules, monitor volumes/forecasts, time editing, in conjunction with meeting guest satisfaction standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Create and maintain schedules for employees, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts
- Coordinate with departments to handle shift changes and requests for time off
- Address scheduling conflicts and ensure that staffing levels meet operational requirements
- Oversee timekeeping and ensure accurate recording of employee work hours
- Review and edit timesheets, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws
- Develop and deliver training programs on the information system to managers and employees
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to system users
- Collaborate with IT and software vendors to improve system functionality and efficiency
- Maintain records related to scheduling, attendance, and training activities
- Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends or areas for improvement
- Assist in preparing reports for management regarding scheduling and staffing metrics
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulations related to scheduling and timekeeping
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and adjust policies and procedures accordingly
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

- High School diploma or equivalent required
- One (1) year of scheduling experience, preferably in a leadership capacity within the hospitality industry is a plus
- Operational knowledge within the Hospitality and/or Gaming industry is a plus
- Strong project management experience and process improvement
- Knowledge of Bargaining Agreements & wage laws
- Skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Ability to gather, synthesize and analyze data and draw logical conclusions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

SALARY:
$23 per hour - $24 per hour
