Position Summary:

If you are looking to truly make an impact in an underserved area, this would be a great opportunity. Spanish bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

The practitioner will interview patients and construct comprehensive medical histories. Provides appropriate patient education by explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan. Instructs patients about health maintenance and preventive care. Provides continuity of care. Directly performs or orders appropriate diagnostic studies and interprets finished results.

Oversees the maintenance of adequate, concise, legible, and up-to-date documentation of patient care. Makes note of problem medical, medication, and discharge records, drug allergies, lab orders, subjective and objective data, diagnostic procedures, patient education, and treatment.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree: Preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications:

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice: Required
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice: Required
OR Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in state of practice: Required

Benefits:

Wage Scale: $126,080-- $189,121
Salary based on experience.

Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards.
