The Animal Referral Hospital at Minchinbury, Western Sydney is excited to have opened our fifth Specialist and Emergency Hospital in September 2023.
As a multidisciplinary Veterinary Hospital, we are proud to offer Western Sydney pet owners and their pets access to gold standard Emergency and Specialist services.
You will be working in a brand-new purpose-built Veterinary hospital with access to a full range of diagnostic imaging including high-field MRI, CT, Fluoroscopy, Endoscopy and Ultrasound. A state-of-the-art ICU, three operating theatres, integrated RX works, and Smartflow to support patient management.
We also have dedicated training facilities including wet lab and education center to train the future generation of veterinary professionals.
We are a short drive away from stunning areas of Sydney such as the Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury Valley, with all the outdoor adventures you can imagine. Love the nightlife and restaurant scene? Parramatta, a stone’s throw away, is the recently developed CBD of Western Sydney boasting multicultural culinary options, bars, and clubs. As for beaches, nowhere in Sydney is too far from our gorgeous coastline for a weekend surf or swim. While it’s true the Sydney housing market is booming, Western Sydney still offers a range of affordable housing options.
The Opportunity
We are driven to develop a strong culture and team who will deliver excellent veterinary care and customer service to the Western Sydney region, where your ideas, suggestions, and participation will be valued. As a specialist, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions in small animals and ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the training and development of veterinary staff, including interns and residents.
About You
The ideal applicant will be a registered specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine, Fellow (ANZCVS) or Diplomate (ACVIM, ECVIM). Applicants that have completed their residency training and preparing for board exams are also encouraged to apply.
Above all, we are looking for someone that is motivated, committed to patient care and growth of this exciting new hospital. We are seeking a good communicator with a willingness to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Someone who shares a vision for a collaborative working environment where referring veterinarians and pet owners receive personalized gold standard service would be a great fit. This position requires interaction with a large team of specialists, veterinarians, and nurses.
