Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community currently has some exciting openings for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) on our Personal Care Living team.
Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, able to work independently and cohesively with a team, and demonstrate compassionate care.
Rates up to $30.00* per/hour* (rates vary based on prior experience and shift differentials).
Sign-On Bonus $2500 for all positions with 16 hours or more a week!
Current Opportunities (all include every other weekend rotation, unless specified):
PERSONAL CARE- 1st Shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm - Part-time, 6 shifts over a 2-week period
MEMORY SUPPORT- 2nd Shift - 4:00pm - 8:00pm - FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE - Choose how many shifts work for you, your schedule, your family... YOU DECIDE!
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- An LPN Med Nurse will administer personal hygiene, nursing care, treatment and therapeutic measures according to physician's instructions, accepted nursing standards, and QPRC policies.
- Precisely documents medications, treatments, conditions of residents; completes all required written documentation accurately and timely.
- An LPN Med Nurse properly uses and maintains all medical supplies/ equipment.
- Orders supplies for residents and the nursing station as needed.
- Continually assesses residents' health status; reports changes to Memory Support Coordinator and carefully documents changes.
- An LPN Med Nurse handles emergency resident situations effectively.
- Updates the Plan of Care for each resident as conditions change. Demonstrates competency in assessing, planning, implementing, delivering and evaluating care of residents.
- An LPN Med Nurse demonstrates ability to assist all residents to reach self-care potential, to treat and communicate with dementia residents, and to modify own behavior in response to a resident's behavior.
- Utilizes effective verbal and written communication skills with all staff, residents and visitors.
- Gives accurate, concise, and complete shift reports.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (Copy required)
- Current Pennsylvania LPN License
- Current CPR certification (QPRC will provide)
