We are looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team at our Hospital in Montgomery, AL. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities of the Associate Veterinarian will include:
- Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
- Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
- Prescribing medication and providing medical advice to pet owners
- Performing surgery and other procedures
- Maintaining patient records
- Administering vaccinations and other preventive care
Qualifications for the Associate Veterinarian position include:
- DVM or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years of experience as a veterinarian
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of animal diseases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
