The CT Lead Technologist leads the operation of the CT Department for the delivery of diagnostic radiological health care services. The CT Lead Technologist performs all duties necessary to work in area of responsibility with decision making ability to make independent judgments.
The CT Lead Technologist directs human and physical resources to achieve an established standard of care in radiological services. This CT Lead Technologist will exercise professional judgment in performance of duties and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. The CT Lead Technologist assures appropriate patient care management and adjusts daily operations to meet the needs of a changing working environment.
As the CT Lead Technologist, in addition to the specific responsibilities outlined below, you are expected to demonstrate exemplary leadership skills. To accomplish the overall hospital mission, you will be expected to exhibit integrity, teamwork, innovation, commitment to personal development and commitment to children.
Education
Graduate from an approved school of radiologic technology.
Experience
- Five years of technical experience in a CT Department or imaging center.
- Three years of experience in Quality Assurance activities.
- Three years of experience with a Picture Archiving and Communication system.
- Three years of experience with a Radiology Information system.
