RUSHKids is seeking a PRN pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Orland Park, IL.
RUSHKids is seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our fun, collaborative multi-disciplinary team in Orland Park, IL. We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders. Our SLPs have opportunities to participate in internal and external continuing education and collaborate with colleagues across our 12 centers in the Chicagoland area.
This position offers strong mentorship in all areas of pediatric speech language pathology, including feeding therapy, AAC, and more. New graduates seeking to complete their CFY are welcome to apply!
Responsibilities
- Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and treatment programs.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of patient’s status and goals.
- Develop comprehensive goals for patient treatment to maximize outcomes.
- Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services.
- Attend appropriate clinical meetings to facilitate coordination.
- Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients.
Qualifications
- Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation of Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
- State licensure/registration where appropriate. ASHA certification is required.
- 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
