Job Advert: Endoscopy Decontamination Technician
Location: Multiple KFM sites (including Denmark Hill, Orpington Hospital, Princess Royal University Hospital)
Hours: Full rota over 7 days (8 am - 8 pm)
Salary: Full time £29,050 / Pro rata £17,430 per annum + up to 12% annual bonus

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the specialised decontamination of flexible endoscopes, working closely with clinical teams.
Your Duties Will Include:
- Disassembly, cleaning, disinfecting, and reassembling medical endoscopes.
- Ensuring compliance with our Quality Management Systems and National Guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reprocess flexible endoscopes and maintain accurate records.
- Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols.
- Assist with the collection, delivery, and safe transport of medical devices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
What You'll Need:
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A passion for patient safety and high standards.
Desirable:
- Experience in medical device decontamination.
- Knowledge of infection control and Health & Safety.
