Responsibilities and Duties
The A&E Project Lead will be responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for a subset of Trileaf's Architectural and MEP Engineering design clients, as well as managing a team of directly-reporting engineers and architecture professionals. A non-exhaustive summary of the responsibilities are as follows:
- Lead and supervise a team of engineers and/or architectural design professionals, including dictating salaries, conducting performance reviews, assigning projects, and providing constructive feedback.
- Hire and train new and existing staff, as necessary, in efficient architectural design, drafting, construction, code compliance, and other industry-specific requirements
- Manage a subset of Trileaf's clientele. Act as the primary point of contact for the assigned clients, accepting and delegating projects, proactively managing anticipated completion dates, ensuring completion by project due dates, and submitting a weekly project tracker
- Ensure Trileaf-quality QA/QC prior to submission to clients.
Qualifications
The idea candidate will be prepared to show knowledge and experience in the following:
- 4-year college degree in architecture, engineering, drafting, or related fields
- Directly related experience in interpretation of building codes and production of construction documents for retail, restaurant, and other mercantile, assembly, business, or similar use groups
- Experience managing employees is preferred
