We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Community Medicine Cardiology team! This opportunity focuses on providing care for adult Electrophysiology patients in the outpatient setting at IU Health Saxony and North Hospitals.
Position Details:
- Full Time, Day Shift
- 4 10-hour weekday shifts per week (7:00am-5:30pm)
- No weekends, nights or call
- 100% Outpatient
- Work directly with a team of 8 physicians and 5 APPs
- No procedural requirements
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Master’s Degree required
- Will accept an ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA
- If new graduate, ICU/PCU nursing experience or extensive ICU or Cardiology experience during clinical rotations required
- 2 years Electrophysiology experience highly preferred
- Ideal candidates have a deep understanding of heart rhythms, arrhythmias, and implanted device follow-up (pacemakers, ICDS, etc.)
