CVRMC provides laboratory services to local physician practices and processes over 160,000 inpatient and outpatient procedures a year in a fully automated lab including Meditech LIS. Must be able to perform all clinical tests in departments of the Laboratory to include Hematology, Coagulation, Serology, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Clinical & Special Chemistry, as well as certain tests in Microbiology and specimen procurement. Performs a wide variety of routine and special laboratory procedures for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Qualifications:
- An Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred.
- Must be ASCP or equivalent.
- 3 years experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Generalist experience, including Blood Banking, Microbiology and Phlebotomy preferred.
- Must be able to work independently.
