The Therapy Tree is excited to announce that we are looking to expand our OT department. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated pediatric therapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Duties:
- Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities, as well as their environment and daily activities, to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to address patients' limitations and promote habilitation/rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and develop strategies for improving patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education on proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and disease management.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of our services and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Skills:
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to provide patient care and support, with a focus on occupational health and patient service.
- Understanding of the principles of occupational therapy and the ability to apply these principles in a variety of settings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Job opportunities include full-time, part-time, and per diem employment. Applicants need to be available after-school and some early evening hours; availability on Saturdays is a plus.
