This is a comprehensive role focused on promoting and restoring health, preventing illness and injury, and managing cases related to disability and Workers’ Compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Health Promotion and Restoration: Oversee health initiatives, including health fairs and blood lead management.
- Emergency Treatment: Provide emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Policy Management: Maintain and implement health services policies and procedures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations.
- Medical Surveillance: Administer medical surveillance and biological monitoring according to OSHA Lead standards.
- Counseling: Coordinate intervention counseling for employees regarding blood-lead levels.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nursing License in the relevant state.
- Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience, with at least 2 years in Occupational Health or Nursing Management.
Preferred:
- Knowledge and experience with Worker’s Compensation.
