MLR is actively seeking ARDMS-certified Ultrasound Technologists to become part of our client’s dedicated team in Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to perform advanced diagnostic ultrasound imaging in a supportive and collaborative environment, where you can make a significant impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities for an Ultrasound Tech:
- Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations as requested by physicians, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts imaging.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and employ optimal techniques to capture the best diagnostic images.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret diagnostic images.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with institutional guidelines.
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe clinical environment.
Ultrasound Tech Qualifications:
- ARDMS certification required in one or more specialties.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
- Texas Department of State Health Services certification is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
