- Number of Beds – 20
- Number of Staff – 40
- Type of staff: RNs and PCTs
- Day Shift – 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, 3 PCTs
- Night Shift – 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, 2 PCTs
- Patient Ratios – 1:4
- Type of equipment – Tele, Transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, bipap, cpap, heated high flow, chest tubes, foleys, pacer wires/pacers, iv pumps, scd pumps
- EMR – meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- ACLS
- Drips – heparin, tikosin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, ketamine
- PCU experience, cardiac experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Chest tube placement, remove chest tubes, remove pacer wires, 12 lead EKGs
