Mental Health Clinical Therapist (PRN/Per Diem)
Position Highlights:
Position: Mental Health Clinical Therapist
Location: Evanston, IL
Full Time/Part Time: PRN/ Per Diem
Hours: Evening/Weekend
Required Travel: May be required between locations
What you will do:
Our model of therapy is typically short-term, goal-focused therapy.
Therapists are expected to participate in division meetings and department meetings and may be assigned other tasks to promote the well-being of the department’s clinical providers.
Provide assessment and treatment of out-patients referred to MG - Psychiatry.
Treatment modalities include individual, marital, group, and family psychotherapy. Diagnostic modalities may include psychological, psycho-educational, and vocational assessment.
Completes and adheres to all credentialing/privileging requirements and guidelines, peer reviews, quality assurance guidelines, and all practice directives as directed by the Chairman, Department of Psychiatry and Head, Division of Psychology, Medical Group.
What you will need:
Education: Master's Degree Required
Certification: Current State of Illinois licensure with a minimum of four letters which may include LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marital & Family Therapist)
Experience: Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in the field of social work
Unique or Preferred Skills: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), group therapy, solution-focused therapy
