The Heritage Oaks Patient Enrichment Center, more commonly known as the ‘HOPE Center,’ is a newly constructed, state of the art, 16-bed, Psychiatric Health Facility, serving the acute psychiatric needs of the community in concert with the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services.

The Director of Clinical Services provides the leadership, strategic planning and effective management of the clinical services offered at the facility to support the delivery of quality behavioral health care and service to patients in the acute inpatient and outpatient setting. Assists the Administrator in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to support and meet the needs of patients, the community and continued growth and to maintain and support compliance with the facility’s performance goals and objectives. Maintains effective working relationships with Physicians, Director of Nursing, Administrator and line staff to ensure the delivery of optimal patient care.
- Directs and coordinates clinical operations of hospital to ensure care delivered to patients in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participates in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives as directed by the Administrator.
- Responsible for the development, revision and implementation of policies and procedures that guides and supports the provision of clinical services ensuring compliance with laws, rules and regulations.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Clinical Social Worker program.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience required. Preferred three (3) year’s experience in psychiatric/mental health field.
License: Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the state of California.
Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of Joint Commission, NAPHS, Title XXII, CMS, OSHA regulations, patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
