Hempstead, TX Medical Technologist Opportunity – ASCPMLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our client's top-tier hospital near Hempstead, TX. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire role with a healthcare facility known for its commitment to providing excellent medical services to the community.
Medical Technologist Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient specimens to assist in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring they are functioning correctly and adhering to safety standards.
- Shifts: Nights and Days available!
- Analyze test results and provide accurate reports to healthcare providers.
- Follow established protocols to maintain quality control and ensure patient safety.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and maintain accurate records of tests and results.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical technology and laboratory practices through continuing education.
MT Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and other lab tests.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
