Position Overview:
Rehabilitation Associates specializes in revolutionizing patient care within skilled rehabilitation and inpatient rehabilitation facilities. We are seeking an experienced advanced practice provider (APP) with a proven track record of providing care to the geriatric population, ideally with a background in physiatry, internal medicine, orthopedics, sports medicine, or neurology. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and feel comfortable working in a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team environment.
Position Details:
In the clinical setting, the APP will be responsible for leading our physiatry consultation service in a subacute rehabilitation facility. This includes rounding on patients undergoing rehabilitation, daily documentation, and co-managing medical barriers to their progress, including acute pain, insomnia, and incontinence. The APP will work closely with the primary medical team and meet with the therapy team (OT, PT, and SLP) to discuss and document patients' functional progress.
The APP will also meet with the entire interdisciplinary team weekly to discuss all patients, addressing barriers to discharge and current progress.
Compensation:
We offer a highly competitive salary based on a 4 or 5-day work week at 6 to 8 hours per day, in addition to a generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and life insurance. There is bonus incentivization based on RVUs.
As a consultant, you will have significant flexibility regarding start time and chosen workdays. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking work-life balance.
We ask that applicants provide a detailed CV listing any relevant experience and references.
