The role you’ll contribute:
A Registered Nurse who is responsible for appropriate and safe care of patients in the Cath Lab, IR Lab, Cath/IR Recovery, and Non-Invasive areas. Acts as the Lead RN in either Cath Lab, IR, or Non-Invasive Cardiology. Responsible for the monthly work and call schedule for their respective departments. Maintains the daily schedules for their respective departments and ordering of supplies. Responsible for orientation of new staff and checking off staff for annual competencies. Responsible for collecting and maintaining PI. Must work independently as well as within the team.

- Is responsible for a holistic, individualized assessment of each patient in relationship to age, physiological, and psychological status.
- Will identify and communicate any change in the patient's status.
- Interprets, evaluates and implements physician orders in a timely manner.
- Is able to establish priorities and plans appropriate/responsible actions accordingly.
- Addresses educational needs of patients and their families.
- Administration knowledge of commonly used drugs/solutions used in the Cardiology and IR procedures.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an RN.
- Requires Critical Care Experience of more than 1 year.
- Prior experience in IR, Cath Lab or Critical Care experience.
- Must have a current FL RN license.
- Must have current BLS and ACLS.
