Essential Job Duties:- Partner with Atria physicians to provide exceptional care in a state-of-the-art facility, as well as providing care to our members in the comfort of their homes.
- Work collaboratively with CMOs (Chief Medical Officers) to provide Preventive Care, Well Visits & Comprehensive Health Assessments in the Institute, also with direct and indirect supervision for urgent Home Care visits.
- Flexibility to work weekends and off hours for on-call coverage for home care visits and Institute coverage, as necessary.
- Pediatric NPs must have the ability to provide comprehensive Primary Care to the pediatric population and provide occasional cross-coverage of adult patients.
- Adaptability to gain training and demonstrate competencies in a variety of Point of Care Testing modalities and devices.
- Flexibility to perform clinical, administrative, and clerical tasks outside routine scope of practice.
- Providing Home Care Services for minor procedures, such as insertion of peripheral IV for medication administration, wound care, vaccinations, and phlebotomy techniques.
- Documentation and appropriate maintenance of Medical Records for members.
- Telehealth visits & Electronic prescribing of medications as needed.
- Maintain a high-quality workforce to assist in the achievement of the Organization's Mission.
- Maintenance & upkeep of Professional Licenses, Certifications, DEA certification, State requirements, and National Certifying Agencies credentials.
Requirements:- Current License required as NP for Pediatrics.
- 2+ years' experience as NP for Pediatrics.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association.
- Capable and experienced with relevant procedures including but not limited to vaccination, phlebotomy, catheterization, intravenous line placement, medication administration by IV, IM, and nebulizer.
- Adaptability to gain training and demonstrate competencies in a variety of point of care testing modalities and devices.
