At NorthBay Health, the Ultrasonographer coordinates daily patient schedules for U/S, performs U/S studies, and ensures correct processing and handling. Helps in other areas of radiology such as front desk and reception. Ensures proper equipment maintenance and cleanliness. Assists clerical staff when possible, attends seminars and in-services, takes call and standby as needed, and promotes a cooperative and positive relationship with physicians and other hospital staff/departments.
Education: Graduate from an approved ultrasound course.
Licensure: RDMS or ARRT (Sonography) eligible. Must be registered within 12 months of hire. AHA or equivalent BLS certification.
Experience: Minimum of two years hospital experience.
Skills: Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in the following age groups: Geriatric, Adult, Young Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal.

Hourly Salary Range: Min $61.20 - Max $67.48 (offered hourly rate based on years of experience).
