APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple Medical Lab Technicians for our client in Everett, WA for a 13-week contract with a high possibility of extension.
Position Title: Medical Lab Technician
Pay Rate: $50/HR
Work Location: Everett, WA
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 14:30), Day 4x10-Hour (12:30 - 23:00)
Hours/day: 5x8 HR DAY shifts
Weekly: 40 Hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- Valid ASCP Certification, BLS
- Preferred 2 years MLT experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures under the supervision of medical professionals.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue samples.
- Operate laboratory equipment and instruments with precision and adherence to protocols.
- Conduct routine and specialized tests in areas including hematology, microbiology, and clinical chemistry.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results by following established procedures and quality control measures.
- Maintain laboratory records, including test results, patient information, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret test results and contribute to patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Stay updated on advances in laboratory technology and best practices in the field.
- Demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills in all interactions.
