Schedule: PRN - Weekend Call Coverage
Salary: $1,000 per weekend | Friday 5:30p - Monday 6a (ending time is flexible)
Duties & Responsibilities:
The role of the Radiologic Technologist is to be a champion of patient care. This role is responsible for preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic x-ray & CT exams, administering and monitoring IV contrast administration, safely using all x-ray equipment to produce quality examinations & ensure that the study is complete for interpretation by the Radiologist. Must maintain good working relationships both within the department as well as throughout the organization. Must be able to multitask and maintain skill level across multiple modalities as well as perform departmental patient screening and scheduling. Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with ECMC policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Education/Experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
A minimum of 1-year x-ray experience.
A minimum of 1-year CT experience, must be ARRT eligible for CT registry.
Prior experience with Toshiba Prime CT and Cerner EMR would be beneficial.
Certifications/Registrations:
Currently registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Kansas. Maintains annual CPR certification.
