Job Summary and Qualifications
Under limited supervision, the OR Radiologic Technologist performs imaging exams within the Operating Room including C-Arm, O-arm, and Hybrid lab Vascular.
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Perform imaging exams within the Operating Room including C-Arm, O-arm, and Hybrid lab Vascular.
- Work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedure manual and comply with all safety and infection control guidelines.
- Work in accordance with JCAHO, State, or other regulatory or accreditation agencies in the performance of their duties.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
- Completion of accredited Radiology program with relevant clinical experience; ARRT.
- American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible with completion of examination within 9 months of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of hire and maintained.
- Ability to accurately complete radiology examinations as ordered by referring physicians.
- Experience with Radiology information systems to obtain previous examination reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all patients, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
- Ability to handle periods of intensity with calm and to work in stressful situations while maintaining composure.
