Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our team for swing and overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about emergency medicine, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent clinical and communication skills. As an Emergency Veterinarian at CRVS, you will provide critical care to pets in need, collaborate with a team of specialists, and contribute to the overall success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency and critical care to patients during swing and overnight shifts.
- Perform thorough physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and medical treatments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for emergency cases, including surgeries if necessary.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' conditions, treatment plans, and prognosis.
- Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary emergency medicine and continue professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Ability to obtain a veterinary license in the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine preferred.
- Strong diagnostic, medical, and surgical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Compassionate and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.

Schedule:
- Swing and overnight shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
You will be able to provide exemplary patient care in a beautiful 15,000 sq. ft. building that was just remodeled in 2019. Our facility has 14 exam rooms, 3 outpatient procedure rooms, 2 treatment areas each with 4 separate treatment tables, a custom ICU suite plus 2 more ICU areas, 4 surgery suites, an endoscopy suite, and a dedicated imaging center with workstations. We offeradvanced diagnostic and treatment technologies including three GE Logiq ultrasound machines, 1.5 High Field Hallmarq MRI, GE Light Speed CT, C-Arm & fluoroscopy, echocardiography, two Snyder oxygen cage banks, high-flow O2, mechanical ventilators, an Olympus arthroscopy/laparoscopy tower, and specialized surgical & neurosurgical equipment
