Hospice Medical Director Physician - Asheville, NC
Job Description:
Health System in Asheville, NC is seeking a Full Time Hospice Medical Director to join and lead our team. As part of the interdisciplinary team, the Hospice Medical Director provides the medical management of palliative care for a group of hospice patients. This role includes certifying and recertifying eligibility for hospice, including face-to-face visits in home and facility settings as necessary, supervising associate medical directors, and participating in the development of formulary and policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be board certified/board eligible with experience in end-of-life care and/or training. Hospice and Palliative Fellowship preferred.
