- Schedule - Shift - Hours: Full Time - Flexible (As Needed)
Under the direct supervision of the OR Manager or designee, the Surgical ES Tech/Equipment Aide is responsible for helping the surgical team by carrying out support activities. Activities may include but are not limited to: environmental services, materials acquisition, patient, equipment and specimen transport, decontamination of surgical instruments, restock of the department with clean linens, cleaning supplies and scrubs, and ensuring working oxygen tanks on stretchers/beds. The schedule for this position is M-F 11am-7pm.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
License/Certifications: N/A
Experience: Minimum of 6-12 months experience preferred in an acute care setting performing environmental and materials responsibilities.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Must be able to communicate clearly in orally and in writing.
Must be self-motivated, willing to participate in continuing education and function as a team player.
